Basic Job Purpose:
Review, analyze, design, and modify batch programs of the Records Administration System to implement documented change requirements.
- Translation of detailed design specifications into code solutions
- Proficiency in SQL
- Mastery of code development tools
- Unit testing of all changes
- System documentation
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) to five (5) years programming experience. Familiarity with the Florida Prepaid College Program is a plus. COBOL (85), S-COBOL (screen), INSPECT (debugger), SQL, TACL, Outside View (text editor), Microsoft Office applications, willingness to learn, relational database concepts, detail oriented, deliver quality work on time, motivated, team player.
